Amanda made her way into the event industry through the kitchen! With a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University, she began her career in fine dining restaurants in Providence, RI, Boston, MA, Portmeirion, Wales, and La Jolla, CA. One of her favorite parts of being a pastry cook was the opportunity to bring delight to others through well-crafted desserts.
Amanda carried her enjoyment for creating wonderful experiences for others with her when she transitioned to event planning. Starting in the non-profit sector she has since had a number of event roles, in not for profit and for-profit organizations, creating events serving 10-2000 attendees. From International travel opportunities for teens, and 5K fun runs, to community building events for active-duty military service members and their families, she uses project management concepts to deliver excellent experiences and occasions. Amanda prides herself on being a motivated, organized, self-starter who produces tailored meetings and events that bring enjoyment to all attendees.
With over 15 years of experience, Amanda finds joy in discovering creative solutions that meet and exceed client needs. Outside of event planning and management, Amanda enjoys baking, sewing, playing board games, camping, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
